The plant located in Nova Olímpia (MT) is the result of a joint venture between the Uisa group and Geo bio gas&carbon, representing a pioneering project in the state. It has an installed electric power capacity of 5 MW and will eventually produce 31,200 Nm³/d of biomethane, which will be marketed in tankers to industrial clients in the region. The plant's raw materials include vinasse and filter cake from Uisa, as well as an additional biomass source, highlighting the innovative nature of the project. The ongoing project is already in the executive phase and is expected to begin biogas production in 2025.
