The strategic partnership between Crivellaro Ambiental and Geo bio gas&carbon resulted in the construction of a biodigestion plant for various industrial waste in Elias Fausto, São Paulo. Inaugurated in 2024, this plant represents a milestone in waste management by transforming environmental liabilities into valuable resources, with emphasis on the use of biogenic CO₂.

With a total estimated investment of R$70 million, the plant has two vertical biodigesters, each with a capacity of 6,000 m³. In addition to producing 16,000 Nm³/day of biomethane, a renewable fuel that replaces fossil fuels, the biogas upgrade process separates biogenic CO₂, allowing its use in various industrial applications, such as the production of carbonated beverages, in agricultural processes and in other high added value industries.

With an installed electrical capacity of 1.43 MW, the plant reinforces the companies’ commitment to innovation and energy transition. This project is a concrete example of how industrial waste can be used to generate clean and renewable energy, while boosting the circular economy and promoting the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
