Geo's first plant in the Northeast, Geo Agrovale Biogás, is under development in Juazeiro, Bahia.

This project marks the expansion of the biogas market in the region, which has attracted significant investment in renewable energy and industrialization in recent years. The biomethane will be distributed through pipelines, connecting the plant to consumers in the states of Bahia and Pernambuco.

With a production capacity of 42 thousand Nm³/day, operations are scheduled to begin in 2026.

The project foresees an investment of approximately R$ 181.49 million, reinforcing Geo's commitment to sustainable development and energy innovation in the region.
